It had to be done, haha.
So today I was gone ALL DAY because I had to get my braces off. I missed school, which is nice. But I couldn't wear my mustache and aviators to the orthodontist
So really, that's my whole day. That, and I sang Monkees songs with my mom while we walked in the park. I made her sing some Queen too, because how could you not? It's Mercury's birthday, after all. Oh, and I bought this button that says "My soul was removed to make room for all this sarcasm". I love it.
So when the alarm went off this morning, I was in the middle of a dream about Freddie (ironic, right? I swear, I don't make this stuff up about my dreams! Perhaps I'm a lucid dreamer...). He was about to go onstage or something, I dunno. But when the alarm sounded, I was yanked out of the dream, and as a natural reaction from waking up all these years, I involuntarily flung myself out of bed, landing on the floor with a thud that could be heard through the house, kicking both my dog and a wall in the process. Well good morning and merry Fredmas to you too, Floor.
Ooooh, look, a meme/tag thingy!
Feel free to tag people! So basically, you have to write your top three bands and what they have taught you or what you've learned from them:
The Beatles: The Beatles have taught me so many things, but the most important, I think, is to just let things go. Let it Be, actually. Stop trying to change things that are already set in stone, and focus on the good things in life. It was really that philosophy that took me out of a minor depression a few years back.
Queen: If there's one thing to be learned from Queen, it's to always always always be yourself. Don't change or hide your personality just to conform with what people want and expect. One of the best things in life is the feeling you get when someone is looking at you weird because to appear to be totally insane.
The Monkees: The Monkees will tell you that the world is, for the most part, a comedy. It's alright to be sad once in a while, but it's really a sense of humor that keeps you afloat in the long run. Don't be so easily offended or quick to assume. Laughing at your own expense keeps you humble and sane.
NOW I SHALL TAG:
Mood:
Eating: Ice creaaaaam
Drinking: Milk
Watching: Nuffin
Listening to: Beatles n things
Writing: Journalistic/emotional things

I shall complete your challenge tomorrow!
And thank you kindly for the watch!
